Mongolian Wolf enters WEC

People who know me know that besides being a creepy German weirdo, I'm a big fan of Mongolian wrestling and it's representation in MMA (an entry for this topic will follow later). Last week, one of the biggest prospects with roots in Mongolian wrestling (from Inner Mongolia) successfully entered American MMA: his name is Tie Quan Zhang and he is from the Mongolian minority who live mainly in the autonomous region of Inner Mongolia in China. Besides the fact that I'm not the biggest fan of WEC (smarks may hate me, but i don't like the cage...sorry), I'm not sure what to think about this; on one side it's good to see Mongolian wrestlers prove that they are legitimate on the "big stage of MMA" but, on the other side, I don't like the fact that he's fighting under the Zuffa banner. I don't like the idea of Zuffa creating the hype and taking over the Chinese MMA market, because I think Art of War and Legend FC are two organisations which have great potential to be both exciting and big orgs (maybe even Pride 2.0, who knows).

Here's his WEC-debut:

If you want to see more fights of him write me or post it in the feedback.

ps. I might be a little biased in my love to Mongolian wrestling (PRAISE IT) so i dind't name the fact that he is also a great Sanda fighter (Chinese Stand up fighting) and BJJ-purpble belt, you might forgive me ;).
